The department lounge is located in Ridgley 321. Please speak with Jennifer Jodell at the front desk if you have questions.
What is the lounge for?
Often, the lounge is used for department events, such as lectures, meetings, and our weekly and monthly events. Kaffeestunde, Pizza-Pause, Parents' Open House, Orientation Open House, the Commencement Luncheon, and most German Film Nights are held in this room.
When not in use, the lounge serves as an undergraduate study area and reference library. Undergraduates are encouraged to use the lounge to study, find reference books, meet with department members, and pick up literature on our various programs. The lounge is also a comfortable place to wait between classes and is one floor away from the TA room.
Should you stop by, please help yourself to a free cup of coffee, tea, or cocoa.
