The St. Louis area is served by Lambert-St. Louis International
Airport. 
Although Lambert is the "hub" for TWA, it also accommodates
most other major airlines.
Note that there are two terminals at Lambert. Most
carriers use the Main Terminal, however
a few, such as Southwest, use the East. For more
information, click on the Airport icon
above and visit their webpage.
Passengers going from the airport to The Best Western
Inn at the Park have several options:
1. TransExpress: Provides shared van service to Downtown hotels. The charge is $10.00 one way, $18.00 roundtrip. Contact the shuttle service upon reaching Lambert-St. Louis International Airport by dailing "91" from the red courtesy phones in the baggage claim area. The red courtesy phones are located across from the baggage claim area at M-1 and are immediately in front of the hotel information board. TransExpress operates shuttles 15 and 45 minutes after the hour, every hour between 6:00 am and 10:30 pm. Although advance reservations are not required, you may call 314-428-7799 for more information.
2. METROLINK: MetroLink is St. Louis' light rail system. It is located on the upper level of the Main Terminal at Exit MT1 and the East Terminal through the parking garage on all levels. Operating daily from 5 a.m. til' midnight, tickets are priced at $3.00 for an adult one-way trip from the Airport, less for seniors and children under 12. Children under 5 ride for free. There is no charge to ride between the East and Main Terminals. Take the METROLINK to the Central West End Station (the ninth stop from the airport). If you call the Best Western Inn at the Park from the airport (367-7500), they will have a hotel van waiting to meet you at the Central West End Station.
3. TAXI: Board at: Main Terminal, Exits MT14-yellow level of garage; East Terminal, Exits ET12 and ET14. The rate to the Best Western Inn at the Park will be approximately $30.00.
4. RENTAL CAR: Airport/On-site: Rental car counters are located between Exits MT17 and MT12, lower level, Main Terminal. Airport/Off-site: Call toll free near Exits MT17 and MT12 in Main Terminal. Rental car shuttle vans pick up outside Exit MT17 or in the East Terminal outside Exit ET12.

By Car
To Washington University:
From the East (via US Interstates 57, 64, or 70 west):
Take US 64/40 West to the Clayton Road exit. At the top of the ramp, turn
right onto
Skinker Boulevard. At the second stoplight, turn left onto Forsyth Boulevard.
From Forsyth
Boulevard turn right onto Olympian Way.

From the West or South (via US Interstates 44 East or
55 North):
Take US Interstate 270 North/West to US 64/40 East. Exit McCausland Avenue
and
turn left at the bottom of the ramp. Follow McCausland Avenue/Skinker Boulevard
North for
approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Forsyth Boulevard, and then right
onto OlympianWay.

From the West (via US Interstate 70 East):
Take 70 East to US Interstate 170 South to Forest Park Parkway. Go east
on Forest Park
Parkway for approximately 2 miles. At the 2nd stoplight, turn right onto
Big Bend Boulevard.
At the top of the hill, make the first left onto Forsyth Boulevard at the
stoplight and then turn
left onto OlympianWay. Anheuser-Busch
Hall is at the end of this drive.
To The Best Western Inn at the Park:

From US 64-40 exit on Kingshighway North. Turn east on Lindell. The Best Western Inn at the Park will be on the right between Euclid and Taylor. |
| From the airport, take US 70 East to 170 South. Exit on Forest Park Parkway. Pass Washington University on your right. Turn right on Des Peres Avenue and then left on Lindell. Proceed down Lindell Blvd past Forest Park, which will be on your right. Cross Kingshighway. The Best Western Inn at the Park will be on your right between Euclid and Taylor. |  |
