| A victim of spurious seed in Warangal District. This farmer planted the field on the right with a variety of cotton recommended by his neighbor. A short time later he bought more of what was packaged as the same seed for the field on the left. The second batch appears to have been bogus seed, and had produced almost no cotton bolls by the end of November. |
