Background

I received my Ph.D. in Linguistics in 2001 from Rutgers University. My area of specialization is phonology, particularly metrical stress theory. My research focuses on metrical and prosodic structure and on the constraint families, such as Alignment and Nonfinality, that play central roles in producing stress patterns. I teach several courses that contribute to the Linguistics and Philosophy-Neuroscience-Psychology programs here at Washington University. Details can be found in my CV.
