ADMISSION TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION

If you're a high school student interested in applying to the department, you'll have to apply to the Washington University College of Arts & Sciences. The application form will give you an opportunity to indicate your interest in education. Application forms are available on-line; see the Washington University page for prospective students.

Each year we accept a few new students in our Doctor of Philosophy program, which is designed to train future university professors and researchers. For a more detailed description of this program, email the department and request a copy of the Doctoral Program Statement (available by mail after September 1).
