Welcome

Washington University's English Language Program has served the Danforth campus and St. Louis community since 1970. Classes have also been offered to the Medical School community since 2003. The program's mission is to provide classes and academic English language support designed to increase non-native English speaking students' English language proficiency and facilitate their academic success at Washington University and beyond.

The program's curriculum, geared to the advanced language learner, is practically oriented and challenging, focusing on real-world expectations. At left is a menu of topics with more in-depth information about the Program.
