Since there are already several web sites out there that pull together most of the zooarchaeological resources on the internet, we just provide links here to a few of the most comprehensive.  Browse through them to get a sense of the diverse themes that constitute the discipline of zooarchaeology, and please ask us if you have any questions!

  • "Archaeozoology Web Resources" - maintained by University of York graduate student Mark Beech, he's pretty much got it all: links to online zooarch publications and journals, the "World Wide Directory of Zooarchaeologists", professional organizations, laboratories, collections, useful online reference material, and other zooarch themed web sites.
  • "Zooarchaeology Home Page" - maintained by Frank Dirrigil Jr. and Barry Baker.  Enter the Zooarchaeology Web Page Forum, or browse through lists of relevant links arranged by animal classes and research topics, as well as online zooarchaeological reports.
