Events

German Day

Participation

  • German Day activities are divided into Contest Activities (which fulfill the criterion of "participation") and Non-Contest Activities (which do not fulfill the "participation" criterion). We ask that every student take part in at least one contest activity, such as a Poster Contest, Declamation Contest, Spelling Bee, Video Contest, or Student Skit.
  • We urge you to spread your students among the various contest activities (please note that we have limited the number of participants per school for some contests).
  • Students should be encouraged to view or participate in as many of the other German Day events (German TV Commercials, Süßigkeiten Counting Contest, etc.) as possible.

Should you have any questions about German Day which are not answered by this website, please contact Empress Sanders.
