The Schnitzeljagd

Rules and Information

We will offer an exciting and rewarding experience for students taking part in the Schnitzeljagd: Teams, which must consist of 3-5 students, will receive a list with questions in German (questionnaires will vary) about different campus sites. Prizes will be awarded to the team that answers the greatest number of questions correctly in the shortest amount of time (the pick-up time will be noted on each questionnaire). Teams will be able to deliver their answer sheets and pick up their prizes at a table set up by the Office of Admissions, where they will also find refreshments and information on various Washington University undergraduate programs. Prizes will be awarded at regular intervals so that several teams may win. The starting point for the Schnitzeljagd is the German Department office in Ridgley 319. A helpful vocabulary list will aid students in understanding the questions, and to make this year's Schnitzeljagd more interesting, we have deleted some questions and added new ones.

Useful Vocabulary

A Vocabularly List is available for download.
