Kaffeestunde
Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m. • Location: German Department Lounge
Kaffeestunde is a weekly gathering of the University's German-speaking community. It provides a relaxed social setting for faculty, graduate students, and undergraduates to meet and speak German. Undergraduates who wish to practice their German speaking skills, listen to native German speakers, or meet members of the department are encouraged to attend. Baked goods and snacks are provided by members of the department. Please note, Kaffeestunde is not held during reading period or Summer Break.
On occassion, guest speakers are invited to give lectures or informal talks; these special Kaffeestunde are noted on our Upcoming Events page as scheduled.
