Most graduate students in the department receive financial support in the form of graduate fellowships or teaching assistantships, each carrying stipends of up to $17,250.
In addition, the department has three endowed fellowships ranging between $17,250 and $22,000, which it grants to outstanding students:
The Egon Schwarz Special Fellowship
The Otto Heller Special Fellowships
The Reinhard Piper Special Fellowship
All fellowships are accompanied by full-tuition scholarships.
Teaching assistantships carry full- or partial-tuition scholarships.
