MAX KADE DISSERTATION SUMMER GRANT 2010
A summer research grant of $3,500 will be awarded to a Ph.D. candidate working on a dissertation dealing with aspects of contemporary German literature. Applicants should provide a CV, a description of their project, and a recommendation from their dissertation advisor. A minimum stay of six weeks is required.

DAAD/MAX KADE CENTER FOR CONTEMPORARY GERMAN LITERATURE GRANT 2010
Two summer research grants of Euro 2,500 (each) for faculty members planning to work in the field of contemporary German literature. Applicants should provide a CV and a description of their project. A minimum stay of four weeks is required.
Grant recipients will do research at the Max Kade Center for Contemporary German Literature with its excellent Suhrkamp-Insel Special Collection. The Center is administered by the Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures in conjunction with Washington University's Olin Library.
