The Relay for Life Silent Auction is on
Saturday, Feb. 10^th. For more information contact
Suzuko. Another Relay for Life function for our
department’s second team will be held in the coming
weeks. Please check back for more information.

V-Day Kaffee Stunde will be held on Wednesday,
Feb. 14^th from 10:30 am – 12 noon. We hope you can
join us for waffles, coffee, fruit, OJ and maybe even
some cereal. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, several
professors have also agreed to recite/read their favorite
love poems.

Deutscher Abend this month will be at 6 pm on
Tuesday, Feb. 20^th. The theme will be Quizzo, a trivia
game, whose topics will focus on sports and pop music.
Study up! Prizes will go to the top teams.

The 12^th Annual Graduate Student Sypmosium
will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24^th beginning at 9:30
am in the Alumni House. A small breakfast and a large
lunch will be served. The title of this year’s symposium is
"Beauty and the Beast: Aesthetics, Eco-Criticism, and Cultural Upheaval."
