CLASSES

The curriculum of the International Leadership Program involves two courses per semester and an accompanying one credit seminar. The first semester is designed to give you a sense of overarching ideas and debates about globalization, while the second semester takes a closer look at a more specific set of topics. Seminars feature a variety of guest lecturers on topics ranging from current events to career possibilities.

SEMINAR

Throughout the academic year the entire ILP cohort will come together for a one-credit, one hour seminar.  This seminar includes a speaker series tailored to cohort’s international interests, current events discussions and opportunities to work on ILP Fall and Spring Awareness projects.

FALL

During the Fall semester the ILP cohort will be split into two classes, “Is There A Global Culture” and “The Making of Race and Class from a Global Perspective.”  In addition to taking one of the above classes, students must enroll in a companion course that will supplement what they are studying in their core ILP course.

During the Spring Semester the entire ILP cohort will take a course examining the field of international development and how it might apply to three different international case studies.
