Admission

We are pleased you have chosen to apply to Washington University in St. Louis! Please follow the simple steps below to complete the admission process.

Deadlines:
Fall and Academic Year applications: March 15
Spring applications: September 15

Step One: Your home university nominates you by forwarding your application, statement of academic purpose, transcript, reference letter to Overseas Programs and record of TOEFL score (if your native language is not English). NOTE: Official TOEFL score douments must come directly from ETS-TOEFL. WU's code is 6929, Dept. Code: 00.

Step Two: Admission is decided in consultation with appropriate College of Arts & Sciences faculty.

Step Three: A formal admission letter is issued by Overseas Programs and sent to you via the exchange coordinator at your home university.
