Grievance Procedure
If a student has a grievance before, during, or after a study abroad program s/he is encouraged to bring it to the attention of the Associate Director of Overseas Programs through a personal conversation or in writing. The concerns will be reviewed and responded to in a timely manner. If the matter can be resolved within the Office of International and Area Studies and Overseas Programs, the student will be notified in writing. If the matter cannot be resolved within IAS/OP it will be forwarded to the appropriate party concerned (i.e. Study Abroad Advisory Board, College of Arts and Sciences or other WU entity) for resolution. Students will receive written confirmation of the resolution of their grievance.
