Location
Prague, Czech Republic

Prague is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic. Situated on the Vltava River in central Bohemia, it is home to approximately 1.2 million people. Prague is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Housing
Students are housed with fellow CET students in an apartment in a Czech residential building. Each apartment has a full kitchen, and is located close to the heart of Prague and the Jewish Quarter. Students should expect to take about 20 minutes to commute to the CET center via public transportation. Film Production students have the option of living in dorms on campus, depending on availability.

Student Life
CET students take classes in the CET center, right in the heart of Prague, just steps from Wenceslas Square and Old Town. The neighborhood features excellent public transportation, countless restaurants and cafes, and numerous museums, movie theaters, and stores. The CET Center features classroom spaces, offices for the Prague staff, a small computer lab, and a library. The entire center has wifi Internet access. Service Internships are available for interested semester students.

Students may participate in community service opportunities while in Prague. Jewish Studies students also have access to the Jewish community in Prague (community center, synagogue, etc.).

The Central European and Jewish Studies programs each include a week-long traveling seminar to locations to learn more about the subject of the core course.
