Areas of Study
Visiting students enroll in the yearlong General Course. Admission is by department. LSE is not available for one semester, but it does offer a summer school. LSE is suitable for WU students majoring in Economics, Political Science, Urban Studies, and International & Area Studies.

Eligibility
General Course: Minimum 3.3 GPA. At least three courses of prior or current academic work relevant to the area to be studied at LSE. Strong preparation in math is preferred by some departments.
Summer School: Suggest 3.0 GPA plus relevant academic preparation.
WU Credits
General Course: Full course load of four courses valued at 30 WU units for the academic year.
Summer School: Each 3 week summer course may be awarded 3 WU units.

LSE is a prestigious British institution of higher education. It is located in central London near BBC’s Bush House, the financial and legal institutions of The City, and the various institutions of British government.
Housing
Visiting students may be offered a place in either an LSE or intercollegiate residence.
Assignments are made mid-summer by lottery. The LSE Accommodation Office assists unassigned student in securing private accommodation in shared flats with other LSE students. The LSE student houses are self-catered with kitchens that are shared with other students. The LSE and intercollegiate residence halls include cafeteria meals in the contract rate.
Student Life
The LSE Students' Union provides various gigs, films and club nights, as well as many student clubs and societies. These include sports clubs, academic societies, national and religious societies and others for political and social issues. Within the Students' Union building there is a store, copy center, café and three bars, as well as the Advice Centre, which offers advice on issues such as welfare and housing.
On-Site Support
WU contracts with Accent International for support of its London programs (not including the LSE Summer School). The LSE Student Recruitment Office, Accommodation Office, and Summer School Office provide significant support too.
Application Process
The application process differs based on the term in which you wish to study abroad and your department's approval of this program.
Academic Year Applications - If this program is approved by your department you must submit a completed WU Semester/AY Study Abroad Application with program-specific forms to the Overseas Programs office in McMillan 138. If this program is not approved by your department, then you must meet with Jennifer White Reding before proceeding with your application.
Summer Applications - You must submit a completed WU Summer Study Abroad Application with program-specific forms to the Overseas Programs office in McMillan 138. If you wish to receive major or minor credit, please ensure that this program is approved by your department and you complete the Study Plan with your Study Abroad Advisor.

WU Program Price
