Research Interests:
Professor Merbaum has a special interest in the effects of stress on behavior, self-control and the efficacy of various psychotherapeutic treatment strategies. One current project is a controlled study in which he examines the value of delivering brief psychotherapeutic services exclusively over the telephone.
