Work for peace.
Stop the terrorism.
Renounce America's imperialism.
Stephen Shalom wrote of the 1986 bombing of Tripoli ordered by then-president Ronald Reagan: "If terrorism is defined as politically motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets, then one of the most serious instances of international terrorism of the year was precisely this U.S. raid on Libya. (Imperial Alibis) Speak out!
Summarizing his 400-page documented history of post-World War II interventions carried out by the CIA and the U.S. military, William Blum writes: "From 1945 to 2003, the United States attempted to overthrow more than 40 foreign governments, and to crush more than 30 populist-nationalist movements fighting against intolerable systems. In the process, the U.S. bombed some 25 countries, caused the end of life for several million people, and condemned many millions more to a life of agony and despair." (Killing Hope, p. 392) Contemplate peace.
